Introduction to me

I've finally found out how to make this work! YAY!

I decided that I needed to do something because I AM BORED and creating a blog seems like a productive way to spend [waste] my time.

Hmm where to start?

How about a little about me to get the ball rolling. I am the oldest out of 4 siblings and because of this I am very motherly and responsible. Sometimes to a fault it scares me, but I am completely happy with who I am. I absolutely love art, music [guitar], cooking, psychology and my friends and family. I also bike and rollerblade a lot during the summer and read a lot during the winter. These are what fill most of my days. Today is the exception because I don't feel like doing any of these, so I am here, telling you a bit about me instead.

Last Friday I finally graduated from my bachelor's program! My degree is Baccalaureat es art specialisé avec majeure en arts visuels et majeure en psychologie cum laude... wow that is a long title. Next year I'm going back for teacher's college so I'm not fully done just yet. I can't wait to start, it's going to be so much fun!!! Convocation was very long but surprisingly pleasant as I sat there in the fourth row, a strong feeling of pride and happiness rising inside of me. My parents attended with my brother and my godparents and Liz [one of my girlies.. CONGRATS LIZ a toi aussi!!!!!] was also in my graduating class. I also made a friend while standing in line with the girl in front of me. We went to Mama Teresa's afterwards for supper with the rest of my family. The meals are huge and we ate and drank so much I thought I might be sick, but it was so worth it! I ended the night with my two of my amazing girlies Liz and Am [another girlie :P] walking down Elgin and having fun just being amazing. All to say the day was great and I had a lot of fun!

The rest of the weekend went by rather smoothly although I didn't have much to do. I hung out with my cousin and other girlie Julz last night watching The Glass House and eating ice cream and pie. Sweets are evil but I love them too much to stop eating them anytime soon. I always have so much fun with Julz because we just hang out and do basically nothing which is really relaxing and we always have great conversations about pretty much everything. I don't think there's anything we haven't covered about ourselves... I think she might even know me better than I do myself. I really do adore her and am grateful for her always being there for me! Today I went to visit Rux's family [Rux is my best friend and my final girlie in Spain but she is coming back soon... ] to give them information about taking the bus from Madrid to Granada when they go visit her in a couple weeks. It felt good to see them since I don't see them as much. I always feel like part of the family when I'm with Rux's family. I might as well get a bedroom in their huge house because I'm always there when Rux is in town anyway. I also made sure everything was settled with Yvonne's [Rux's little sister] graduation and prom. I will be representing her parents at her graduation, which are gone to Hawaii on a business trip (SOO JEALOUS!!!!) and I will help out with her pre-prom garden party. I think it's adorable that my friend Thiago will be her date. He's doing an internship from Brazil in Ottawa and he is so incredible it's no surprise Yvonne wanted him to accompany her. It will be his first prom since they don't have them in Brazil and I still have to help him get her corsage next week. Yvonne is more than ready and organized for everything and I can't wait to see them all dolled up and gorgeous/handsome. I loved my grad and prom and since my brother didn't go to his last year it will be fun to witness it again for someone else. Thank god it's all over for me though hehehe. Tonight I might go out with some friends or just take it easy at home. I have another lovely boring week ahead of me, so I will have to be very creative with what to do with my time. I'm anticipating the start of my summer job which starts at the end of this month. More on that in later posts.

See ya ;)
